Vote for A' KEIBA - MC HAMMER
Some of you have heard about MTV new show "Rock the Cradle" It's like American Idol, only each of the contestants are the children of major rock stars and music artists (Bobby Brown, Olivia Newton John, The Eagles, etc) It's actually a very entertaining and intriguing show.One of the contestants is Akeiba Burrell the daughter of MC Hammer. Most people don't know, but MC Hammer has been a spiritual father, mentor and inspiration to me for nearly 10 years. I started working with Hammer at the age of 19 running and managing media projects. Through the years we have become very close, almost like father and son, but in a spiritual dynamic. He has taught me so much in what it means to be a man of God, how to impact and transform society and really just how to be real God and man. I have so much love and respect for this man for who he is and what he has accomplished for the Lord.
His daughter Akeiba is an amazing young woman. When I first met her she was only 12 years old or so. Today, she is a student at the University of Texas, incredibly beautiful, smart and talented. Did I mention she loves Jesus? Well, I'm writing this blog so that you can all become her fans by supporting her on the MTV website for "Rock the Cradle" she will need all our support as she shines her God given gift to sing every week to millions around the world.
